France And Greece Sign Arms Deal

More than 100 aftershocks, 27 killed in Turkey quake

More than 100 aftershocks have hit the Turkish coastal city of Izmir since a devastating earthquake, with more than 20 buildings collapsing, leaving 27 dead and more than 800 injured. According to the World News Agency, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake shook the Turkish coastal city of Izmir and the Greek island of Samos yesterday. 

At least 140 people have been rescued from the rubble of buildings in Turkey, while more than 800 injured have been taken to hospitals, where 27 people have been confirmed dead. Dozens of injured are in critical condition and the death toll is expected to rise.
