Border Tension || Gulwan Valley || Chinese troops also occupy the mountains near Lake Pangong Tsu

In eastern Ladakh, Chinese forces captured the mountains near Lake Pangong Tsu and stopped Indians from patrolling there

India Today quoted the local population as saying that the Indian Army patrol in the area has stopped. Local herdsmen were barred from crossing the border while the mobile network was shut down.

A member of the Ladakh Hill Development Council told the Indian newspaper that the people of Ladakh had never seen such a large army in the past, the locals were terrified. Meanwhile, the Indian Navy increased its activities in the Indian Ocean.

It may be recalled that after two weeks of violent clashes between the two countries' troops in the Gulwan Valley of Ladakh, no concrete statement has been issued by the government so far. There is no harmony in the statements of the government. Besides, the situation seems to be getting more complicated after the statement of the Indian ambassador to China.

According to the Indian news agency PTI, the Indian ambassador to China said that he hopes that China will return to the LAC while fulfilling its responsibility to reduce tensions.

Vikram Misri said that he has always worked for LAC. On the ground, Chinese military action has eroded trust between the two countries.

Remember that the ambassador's statement was completely different from Narendra Modi's statement. Modi had said in an all-party meeting on June 19 that no one had entered our area or occupied any post. However, he acknowledged that 20 soldiers had been killed during border tensions.
