The Pentagon reports that the Syrian government has moved chemical weapons

Secretary of Defense United States Leon Panetta, said on Friday that the Syrian government has moved part of its chemical weapons arsenal to move to safer places, while maintaining the strongest teams in the same position and under the strict control regime. Panetta said in a press conference that the Pentagon has credited intelligence that "several moves", apparently for a "better security" in the midst of conflict between forces loyal to Bashar al Assad government and opposition rebels. However, the transfers, the date of which is unknown, are "limited" because the top teams "are still in place, remain secure," the U.S. defense secretary. United States estimates that Syria has dozens of chemical and biological weapons in various parts of the country. President Barack Obama warned in August to his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad that the deployment or use of this weapon would cross a "red line." Among the teams that would be on the low power of Damascus arsenal would like VX nerve gas, sarin and tabun.
