The Chinese woman forced to abort seven months pregnant, Feng Jianmei, was compensated with $ 11,000 (about 9,000 euros) based on an unofficial agreement reached between the family and authorities. Feng, 29, was forced to terminate the pregnancy because they can not face the monetary fine (about 40,000 yuan, more than 5,000 euros) imposed by having a second descent in a country which since 1979 is in effect the child policy only. The amount was unveiled Wednesday by state media in the Asian country. The family has accepted that amount of money "to return to normal life" , as explained by the husband, Deng Jiyuan , the newspaper 'South China Morning Post. The woman's lawyer, Zhang Kai , has confirmed that this is an unofficial agreement (apart from the judicial authorities) with the county government of Zenjia, to which the natural city Feng, Ankang in Shaanxi province ( Midwest). "NOT MUCH NOR ENOUGH" After the economic pact, reached Tuesday night, the Deng family has withdrawn its claim , which sought to precisely state compensation. In counsel's view, the money received is "not much or enough" to force a mother to abort in the last trimester of gestation.
