U.S. charges directly to the Chinese Army to organize 'cyber'

The U.S. government aims directly at China People's Army as responsible for 'cyber attacks' against own computer systems and defense contractors. This is the first time that Beijing openly accuses Washington of being behind the attacks. According to the Pentagon's latest annual report on Chinese military capabilities (PDF), which includes the newspaper The New York Times, these allegations are very open and direct. For the U.S. Defense Department, China has moved to the first row in technology 'ciberofensiva'. The newspaper notes that so far the Obama Administration has been very cautious in pointing to the Chinese government as responsible for the use of 'cyber attacks' against U.S. interests and companies, especially in cases of intellectual property theft. In fact, the report says that although the primary motivation for these 'cyber' is Chinese espionage, the report recalls the attacks on the Defense Department itself-among others-in 2012 and stressed that no evidence attacks in order to get clues on U.S. policy decisions. Moreover, the report is warning that this collection of information could easily be used for "the construction of an image of U.S. defense networks, elements of logistics and military capabilitiesrelated, that could be exploited in a crisis ". In the document it is stated that "China uses a large and organized network enmpresas, defense factories, research institutions subsidiaries and operations in computer networks to facilitate the collection and export of sensitive technology as well as basic science research and holding the modernization of the U.S. defense system." Gradually, the reality of 'cyberwar' and the size of the 'cyber' are becoming increasingly important, that and just hide. U.S. increasingly more emphasis on the 'cyber', with the creation in 2009 of a complete program of counterintelligence cyber headed by General Keith Alexander. The attacks from China have become in recent years a serious threat to the U.S. government and other Western countries . However, so far only few security companies had dared to accuse directly the Beijing Government of being behind a "broad cyber espionage campaign long term", as claimed in February security company Mandiant.
