Beirut Blast || Deaths Toll 100, Injured 4,000



A blast near the Lebanese capital, Beirut, has killed a minimum of 100 people and injured 4,000 others.

Authorities said the worth could rise as rescue and emergency services were removing bodies from the rubble, according to AFP.

The blasts were so severe that they were felt as distant as 240 km to Cyprus.

The U.S. embassy in Beirut has warned its citizens to stay indoors, to not leave unnecessarily and to wear masks if possible, following reports of dangerous gas leaks.

The makers of the footage of the blast have shared videos on social media during which clouds of smoke are often seen for every hundred, while the manufacturers of the video from a distance of two kilometers also fell behind because of the intensity of the blast.

US President Donald Trump said the blast could be a possible attack and when asked for more details, he said he had met with some US military generals who said it had been a standard There are often no explosion.

However, two US officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the preliminary investigation refuted Trump's statement.
