In the latest report The Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report 2013 , published by the World Economic Forum were announced the results of a survey of 140 countries, which are trying to find out what the attitude of the residents before the arrival of the tourists. Find out in this post, which are the most and least friendly to tourists !
Not all communities perceive tourism and tourists as positive and enjoyable. In some cases there may be situations of tension, discomfort and inconvenience. The aforementioned report seeks to investigate, through a survey, what are the countries and societies more open to tourism and foreign visitor arrivals. The most relevant data were mapped by The Washington Post : in red country "less friendly" and blue which provide better welcome. Bolivia, Venezuela and Russia are highlighted in the first group, while Iceland, New Zealand and Morocco do in the first The American continent seems, in general, very friendly, as is also Oceania. The sites of greatest conflict are evident in Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Among my travel experiences I remember very tense situations or problems with the locals. Maybe in Mexico took me a while to relate and make me understand (despite speaking the same language) but nothing really serious. Now I appeal to their views to compare the data of the map.
