The FBI warns of 'sextorsion' sexual extortion via the Internet especially against young girls. Victims send alleged 'friends' photos that depict the nude or seminude and are then blackmailed by the threat to get the images to their families or boyfriends. '' It is a 'extortion' using sexual images that criminals are able to achieve through social media,'' said a special agent of the FBI in Boston.
