Federer-Djokovic, the grand finale of London

Roger Federer will play the final for the eighth time in his successful career in which he won the Masters six times, most recently last year. Novak Djokovic had qualified in the afternoon, defeating Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, while Federer did after local hero to Murray, 7-6 (7/5 ), 6-2. The Basel player has been imposed in the season-ending Masters in the past two years and who holds the record for victories in this competition . In his semifinal match against Murray was far superior and gave no option to Olympic champion and U.S. Open this year. The final Djokovic-Federer will be the ideal end to the season on the ATP circuit , between two rivals who know perfectly and have been measured as 28 times, with 16 wins to 12 for the Swiss and Serbian. Federer, 31, has been imposed in the last two meetings, in the semifinals of Wimbledon and the final of Cincinnati in August, ending a streak of six Balkan favorable wins over him in seven games. Djokovic also reach the final after a physical and mental exhaustion before Del Potro, having had to go back and work to eliminate the Argentine, who a day earlier had himself Federer won his group in the first phase. Djokovic will play his second Masters final , four years after his victory in the 2008 edition in Shanghai (China).
