Pir Pagara passes away in London

Pir Pagara, the chief of Muslim League Functional and spiritual leader of the Hurs, developed complexities after a surgery on a cyst at a Karachi hospital. He was flown to London last week as advised by Pakistani doctors, but his condition deteriorated rapidly and he breathed his last at a London hospital. Pagara was also uncle of PM Gilani. Political circles across the political spectrum have expressed grief over his death. Pir Paga had been a noted figure in the politics of Pakistan.
