The Army deployed missiles in Tokyo Japan


Japan  has deployed Patriot missiles in central Tokyo  to deal with any North Korean shot that threaten the archipelago, said Tuesday the Ministry of Defence. Two Patriot missile launchers were installed in the Ministry of Defense, in the heart of the capital, to intercept a possible missile North Korea, an official told the AFPAccording to Japanese media, the Patriot will be deployed in two sites in the Tokyo areaOther batteries interceptor will also be installed on the island of Okinawa (southern Japan), announced Monday Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera. In a television program, Onodera said Okinawa was "the most appropriate place to respond to any emergency" , adding that now the Patriot could be deployed on the island " permanently ". The SDF-the name of the Japanese army, have been authorized to destroy any North Korean missile that threatens Japanese territory , said Monday a spokesman for the Ministry of Defence. Patriot batteries addition, Tokyo has deployed destroyers equipped with the Aegis maritime interception in the Sea of Japan (East Sea to Koreans), the official added. Meanwhile, North Korean workers of an industrial complex that North Korea administered with  South Korea since 2004 did not report to work on TuesdaySome South Korean industrial complex managers Kaesong, just across the border in North Korea, said on Tuesday that they would continue to work despite the absence of their peers. On Monday, Pyongyang had reported that it would withdraw 51,000 North Korean workers and suspended operations in the factory complex , which would end with the last economic ties with South Korea in a context of tensions between the two countries. The decision came amid threats of war by North Korea  and other measures to punish South Korea and the United States for their joint military exercises. In addition, North Korea is upset by the sanctions the UN imposed after its nuclear test on 12 February. Last week North Korea closed the border to South Korean managers and cargo to the complex, although the managers who were already in the complex could remain. More than a dozen South Korean companies, including 120 who have businesses in Kaesong,closed and its operations in the absence of the necessary suppliesMost of Kaesong employees are women . The resort is the largest employer in Kaesong, the third largest city. Shoes and clothing make up 70% of the goods produced, the rest are mostly industrial and chemical products. Kaesong is a rare source of hard currency for the North. The Ministry of Unification of South Korea estimates that North Korean Kaesong workers received about $ 80 million in wages in 2012.
