Boycott of French products in Muslim countries

The French government has called on Arab countries to end their boycott of their products. Business organizations from several Arab countries, including Kuwait, announced a boycott of French products a few days ago and all European products were being removed from stores.

According to the news agency Reuters, the Arab countries announced a boycott of French products after the news of a French teacher showing 'insulting sketches' to children during class came to light a few days ago.The boycott was first announced by a coalition of more than 70 Kuwaiti business organizations against French products, followed by the removal of French products from stores across Kuwait.

The boycott came as French President Emmanuel Macron issued a controversial statement on October 23 saying France would not back down from "blasphemous sketches". The French president made the statement after a teacher was beheaded in an attack in France on October 17, who showed "insulting sketches" to children at school. The French president attended the man's last rites and called him a French hero, sparking protests around the world against the French president.

Demonstrations and boycotts against France began in the Muslim world after the exhibition of 'blasphemous sketches' in front of school children in France, the assassination of the exhibiting teacher and the subsequent declaration of him as a hero by the French president. According to the news agency Reuters, after the boycott of French products in the Middle East countries, the French Foreign Ministry appealed to the Arab countries to end the boycott. The Israeli government has given final approval to restore ties with Abu Dhabi

The Israeli government has given final approval to normalize relations with the United Arab Emirates. An official statement said lawmakers had ratified the agreement earlier this month, according to AFP.

The statement added that the government's weekly cabinet meeting also ratified the agreement to establish diplomatic relations with Bahrain to be sent to parliament. The United Arab Emirates became the third Arab state to establish relations with Israel in August this year, after Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994. Peace agreements were formalized in the White House on September 15 this year with the cooperation of the United States. It should be noted that Sudan and Israel have agreed on an agreement to normalize relations with the help of the United States. Senior US officials said President Donald Trump sealed the deal during a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk and Transitional Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.

The United States added Sudan to its list of countries supporting terrorists in 1993 because it believed the current government was supporting extremist and terrorist groups. Also on Friday, US President Donald Trump said more countries would sign agreements with Israel. On the other hand, Palestine has rejected all agreements with Israel. It should be noted that on August 15, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) surprised the world by announcing a historic decision to recognize Israel and establish bilateral relations with it. Later, on August 29, the UAE government repealed its boycott of Israel. For the first time since the restoration of relations between the two countries, a plane flying from Israeli soil arrived in Abu Dhabi from Jerusalem on August 31. After the resumption of relations between the two countries, while the Muslim world sharply criticized the United Arab Emirates, there were also reports that other Arab countries may soon recognize Israel. Bahrain also followed in the footsteps of the United Arab Emirates and restored relations with Israel.
Trump, Joe Biden's campaign enters last week, Corona virus cases also increase

President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden's campaign for the November 3 presidential election in the United States has entered its last week, while the number of Code-19 cases is also increasing. According to a report by Reuters news agency, the staff of Vice President Mike Pence in the United States is also affected by Code-19 while Donald Trump has claimed improvement. Democratic candidate Joe Biden has criticized the US president for surrendering to the epidemic, which has killed at least 225,000 people in the United States. In the eight days leading up to the US presidential election, some 59.1 million people have cast their ballots, either directly or by e-mail. The move could lead to a record turnout in the US presidential election more than a century later, according to data from the University of Florida's US Election Project. Donald Trump will be in the US state of Pennsylvania on the first day of the week, which is a very important state and both the candidates have been coming here frequently and also addressed rallies and meetings in different areas. The US president will make more trips to Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Arizona and Nevada this week in connection with the campaign. Joe Biden, on the other hand, will be in his home state of Delaware on the first day, followed by Georgia, Atlanta and Warm Springs. The past two days in the United States have seen a surge in code-19 cases, which has given Joe Biden an opportunity to win the sympathy of voters by criticizing Trump's policy. Speaking to supporters in New Hampshire yesterday, Trump said there is no country in the world where the virus has not been controlled as we have. White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said the administration could "not control the corona virus" but was focusing on vaccines and drugs. Joe Biden, who has slammed Trump's corona policy throughout his campaign, said in a recent statement that the administration has absolved itself of its basic duty to protect American citizens.
