Not sure that this phrase is in the code of propriety
British. On his plane just before he entered the UK on Monday, US President
Donald Trump called the mayor of London "loser total" via his
favorite means of communication: Twitter.
"Sadiq Khan, who did a terrible job as mayor of London,
made" nasty "comments to the President of the United States,"
tweeted Donald Trump, referring to him in the third person. This "total
loser" would do better to focus on the fight against crime in London,
added the president.
"Fascists of the 20th century"
"Childish insults should not be at the level of the
President of the United States," said a spokesman for Sadiq Khan. Donald
Trump has repeatedly attacked the Muslim Labor leader via social networks,
denouncing his "disastrous work on terrorism." For his part, Sadiq
Khan regularly condemns the declarations and behavior of the tenant of the
White House. On Sunday, the mayor of London told Sky news that the UK was wrong
to "roll out the red carpet" to Donald Trump and described some of
the US president's policies as "odious" and "offensive".
In The Observer, he also compared some of the American
president's words to those used by "20th century fascists". The mayor
of London warned that he would not attend the banquet given Monday evening
given by Queen Elizabeth II in honor of the Republican leader. A dinner in
great pomp also shunned by the Labor opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn and the
Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow.
