Modi took Oath for Second Term


After the success of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the elections of the Lok Sabha in the House, Narendra Modi took oath for office for second term.

According to the Foreign News agency 'AP', India's President Ram Nath Kovind took oath from Narendra Modi and his cabinet ministers.

Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has not been part of the new cabinet, while former health minister Arun Jaitley also refused to join cabinet.

The new members joining the new cabinet of Narendra Modi include 2014 from BJP chief Amit, while the ministers of Ministers will be announced later.

Remember that in the recent elections of Lok Sabha, the Bharatiya Janta Party had achieved 303 seats in the 542 house and was in the position of making a single government.

However, they face many difficult challenges including the falling economy, the increasing unemployment rate and the low prices of agricultural commodity.

On the occasion of Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony in the presidential palace, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi of the opposition Congress Congress constituency won 52 seats.

Among the leaders of South and Southeast Asian countries were also participating in the swearing ceremony.

These leaders included Thai ambassadors, President of Kyrgyzstan, President of Bangladesh, Mohammad Abdul Hamed, President of Sri Lanka, Matthew Pierre Sinai, President of Mauritius, Prime Minister of Nepal, Bhutan's Prime Minister and Myanmar President.
