Internet giant Google is expected to announce this week one payment service credit to fifty channels its online video platform YouTube, said Monday the newspaper Financial Times. The minimum payment would be $ 1.99 per month , according to the business daily quoted sources close to the project. The platform, which derives most of its revenue from digital video advertising, should adopt a new source of income. YouTube told the FT that "aims to create a payment platform that could provide more quality content to the delight of (their) users and developers provide a new way to generate revenue from their content, as well as models based in rent and advertising " YouTube, which has over one billion users worldwide, proposes since 2011 a series ofthematic channels free, an attempt to prepare the ground to pass payment services.
