Police in India have arrested seven people for allegedly rape the Friday night of a Swiss citizen in the north of the country, a source at the embassy in New Delhi Berne. The source said the woman and her husband, who was beaten by the attackers , have filed a complaint in police agencies, but has refused to disclose the identity or other personal information of the victims. According to local media, the marriage had camped near the town of Jhadia , in the state of Madhya Pradesh, when he was assaulted by a group of attackers who stole the couple's belongings. The couple was traveling by bike and headed to the city of Agra, where the Taj Mahal. The attack adds to the wave of allegations of sexual abuse that occur daily in India since the rape and murder of a young woman in December in New Delhi, in a case that outraged the public and revealed the lack of protection to women this country.
