The U.S. military command in Africa is preparing plans for a base of drones in North West to increase the number of unarmed surveillance missions on Al Qaeda and other Islamic extremist groups the Americans and the West believe pose a growing threat to the area. This was reported by the New York Times online, stressing that if the base will be 'approved will be' made most likely in Niger.
