The White House created the "National Day of Hacking"

The White House  said the National Day of Civic Hacking  ('National Day Civil Hacking') the next 1 to 2 June to promote the exchange and publication of data and open source in order to find "innovative solutions to problems affecting Americans ". During that time, many cities will host a series of events to attract computer specialists, technologists and entrepreneurs.  For this purpose, open the databases of NASA, the Department of Labor and theCensus Bureau , among other agencies, "so you can participate any person who wants to contribute to these efforts."
