'I'm not worried about the election, yes I am for families'

In a short speech after a meeting with his crisis committee  White House , U.S. President Barack Obama  also called on the inhabitants of the regions potentially threatened to abide, without doubt, the directives of local authorities, particularly in regarding evacuations. Obama warned on Monday that the  hurricane  " Sandy "  that hangs over the East Coast will be " a great and difficult storm "with potential" fatal ", but trusted the authorities' ability to cope. "This will be a great and difficult storm. (...) I am sure that we are ready," he said, adding: "I'm not worried about the election, yes I am for families . going to be a large and powerful storm. It will be difficult, but America is united in difficult times. " Obama canceled a campaign event in Orlando,  Florida , and another Tuesday in Green Bay, Wisconsin, due to the hurricane, which has shaken his entire agenda. In just one week before the elections, both Obama and his Republican rival  Mitt Romney has had to turn around their campaign plans due to the arrival of the storm, which is expected to affect about 50 million people over the U.S. east coast.
