Attempt in Pakistan against U.S. consulate cars

A suicide bomber crashed his car into another of the U.S. consulate in the city of Peshawar, killing two Pakistani officials and wounded many Americans.   Though initially stated that the two had been dead, the U.S. Embassy said it had only received promptly injuries. Agents in charge of the investigation indicated that two consulate vehicles, escorted by three police, were going to a club of his country diplomat when the foremost was hit by a car bomb. The explosion was deafening in the street and opened a crater several feet deep, a witness told media.The attack occurred near the Peshawar office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, whose structure was damaged partial. reports incomplete or unconfirmed press reported that about 20 bystanders were wounded. Following preliminary tests, the experts found that the development of the bomb were employed about 100 kilograms of explosive material. According to Dawn newspaper, sources informed him the U.S. consulate in the capital of the restive province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had tightened security measures following threats of attack two days ago. No organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
