Murray beats Federer in the final of the Olympic Games

It has taken more than a hundred years the British have never seen a player born in the islands was proclaimed champion of the Olympic Games . Andy Murray has achieved a historic feat for the tennis of his country and crushed in straight sets ( 6-2, 6-1, 6-4)  to the best of all time, Roger Federer . All invited to think that the embite among the best in history, who came to London to complete a track record second to none, and the eternal promise that he had never won a Grand Slam, it would settle with a win for Federer, who would enlarge and their legend to infinity. But the Scot, who chose this day to grow up, has broken all odds, not only for his victory, but also how to achieve it. Murray , in the best tennis of his career, he played the game of his life. With an aggressive and precise tennis from the bottom Federer out of the meeting from the beginning. At all times showed mental strength he has ever seen. A trust of which he had lacked throughout his career and seems to have hoped to draw on the most special day. Before a packed center court of public favor, Murray began the biggest game of his life very nervous, but the passage of minutes and the good results would calm down. In the first game allowed two balls to break Federer, as a prelude to what would be an ordeal for him, missed. The Swiss had before breaking nine balls throughout the match but was unable to obtain any certification, which caused a psychosis in Federer. Crestfallen and sunk early on, Federer was a shadow of what has been during his career and never got into the game. Murray broke Roger's serve in the fifth game and began imposing a very high rate. Little mistakes and hard knocks were looking lines virtues. At all times sought to move the Swiss, who was not able to dominate from the back and every time I hit the point in the race fell on the side of Britain. The first set quickly fell on the British side, because Federer stayed stuck for the first time after losing his serve. The Swiss slut lasted nearly an hour, in which Murray took the opportunity to take a bite of significant gold. Win nine straight games to get to 5-0 in the second. Federer was unable to cope with the Scottish cyclone. In the third the Swiss grew a little and turned his face, but still well above Murray. Just needed a new break for, leaning on his serve, certify a deserved win for the big tournament he has played and the four previous defeats had fitted into big tournaments.

Del Potro gives Argentina its first medal
Juan Martin del Potro defeated Djokovic in the consolation final and won the bronze, the first medal for the delegation of Argentina in London. The Argentine was higher than Serbian, who could not repeat the medal four years ago in Beijing and looks like it misses another major tournament. Del Potro won in straight sets to Djokovic 7-5, 6-4 and scored the fourth and tennis medal in Olympic history to Argentina. Adding to the metals obtained by Javier Frana with Christian Miniussi in men's doubles in Barcelona 92, Paola Suarez and Patricia Taravini in Athens 2004 and Gabriela Sabatini, silver in Seoul 1988.
