Male contraceptive pill may be close to be produced

According to a news site published by Science Daily , a group of American researchers found that JQ1, a substance developed for the treatment of cancer, can cause the sperm count and mobility of these cells are dramatically reduced, with deep effects on fertility. The tests were performed with laboratory mice, with satisfactory results. According to the researchers, the JQ1 inhibits the production of a protein called CDT, which is essential for male fertility. The good news, boys, is that the substance does not affect sexual performance, does not alter testosterone levels, it is an invasive and has no side effects, and make fertility entirely reversible once we discontinue use of JQ1 . Clinical trials should be initiated soon and the researchers are confident that the results presented by the animals will also be observed in humans.
