Once the exterior work tomorrow the Shards, the new London skyscraper designed by Renzo Piano, will be officially inaugurated in the presence of VIPs and Mayor Boris Johnson. Beams of laser beams are projected from the top of the building - the highest in Western Europe with its 310 meters - to other famous attractions of the capital. However, the skyscraper will be open to the public - inside there are bars and restaurants, a hotel and a lookout point - only to start 2013.
