Increased to eight dead after Brazil plane crash

The eight occupants of a twin-engine plane that took off today from the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte were killed when the aircraft crashed into the earth at a time when the pilot tried to land at the airport in Juiz de Fora (Southeastern Brazil), reported today firefighters. The Fire Department of the State of Minas Gerais initially found seven bodies mutilated in the accident site, a forested area of difficult access, and had to extend their search for nearly two hours to find the charred remains of the eighth victim . The accident occurred around 7.30 am local time (10.30 GMT) in a room near the airport Serrinha of Juiz de Fora at a time when environmental conditionswere not favorable due to poor visibility in dense fog. According to the bulletin of the Body Fire, the stricken aircraft was a twin-engine King Air B Model GT-200 and BY-51 code, up to ten passengers on a flight between Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais, and Juiz de Fora, the second largest city the state. The aircraft, owned by Vilma Food, collided with a building of an inn and several trees before crashing and exploding in a forest reserve on a farm near the airport.
