He died "suddenly" the president of Ghana, John Atta Mills


The president of Ghana John Atta Mills died Tuesday in the capital, Accra, having fallen ill on Monday night, as reported Tuesday the Office of the President of the African country and an assistant chief of state. Mills's death comes just months before presidential elections which were expected to submit for re-election after reaching the State Headquarters of the African country in January 2009. "With much regret we announce the sudden and untimely death of President of the Republic of Ghana," he reported in a statement the office of the Presidency. The note stated that Mills, 68, died hours after getting sick, without providing further details. An assistant of the Chief of State, who asked to remain anonymous, explained that the president began to feel ill on Monday night and died Tuesday after his health worsened. A few weeks ago, traveled to the United States to undergo medical tests.
