Much controversy has broken out in social networks in which a photograph is an employee of Burger King salad trampling. The controversy came after a user of the website 4chan, who said he worked for the company, went up the picture with the legend : "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King" . With GPS information, users of the site determined that the image was taken apparently at a local fast food chain in Mayfield Heights, Ohio (USA) . Given the controversy, the company said it has fired three of its workers , though not confirmed if the picture was actually taken at the branch in Mayfield Heights. In fact, Burger King said that as a company will not tolerate violations of this type their "strict procedures for the safe handling of food."
