At least 130 dead from floods in Afghanistan

More than 130 people have died due to heavy flooding and landslides that hit in recent days in Afghanistan. At the same time, dozens of people missing. The floods swept through villages and parts of the city in the province Segtseran Gor yesterday, damaging dozens of homes, the spokesman said the authorities in the province, Ampntoulchai Chatimpi. In northeastern Afghanistan, the rain and hail caused flooding in the province of Badakhshan, resulting in at least 8 people killed and about 100 homes destroyed. The winter that was the heaviest in 15 years, in Afghanistan snow and many experts have warned of flooding in areas where rivers pass.
