Afghanistan: UNICEF, 1,756 children killed in 2011

In 2011, 316 children and teenagers under 18 years of age' were recruited by the warring parties in Afghanistan and, in most cases by armed opposition groups. The children have been used for suicide attacks, to place explosive devices and bring supplies to armed groups.
