Members of the National League for Democracy (NLD) elected in parliamentary elections of April 1, gave up boycotting the Parliament, announced April 30 Aung San Suu Kyi. They will make their debut as members on May 2, ten days later than originally planned. They had refused to sit as they had to swear the oath included the phrase "protect the Constitution".
