It is said in the landmark resolution that people of Balochistan have right of self determination because Baloch people are being killed extra judicially. Besides, Baloch people are facing political and communal prejudice in Pakistan, the resolution said. Balochistan is divided in Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan therefore, it is right of the Baloch people to decide their fate, the resolution read. Earlier, Rohrabacher and four other U.S. congressmen Louie Gohmert, Ted Poe, Brad Sherman and Russ Carnahan blasted Pakistan over the human rights violations in Balochistan and called for the right to self-determination for Balochistan at the February 8 hearing.
