Host 2015 Cricket World Cup & climax of 2011

Australia & New Zealand will jointly host the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. It will be the second time that the two neighbors will jointly host a cricket world cup. The two countries were awarded the hosting rights at the same time of the 2011 Cricket World Cup. It is expected that only top 10 teams including the test playing nations will participate in the 2015 world cup. After entertaining the cricket lovers for 43 days, the ICC Cricket World Cup reaches its climax. The winner of the final of the 10th edition of the ICC World Cup will receive a cash prize of $3 million along with the ICC trophy at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in the post match ceremony on Saturday. The runner up team will get $1.5 million.  The Semi-final runner up teams, Pakistan and New Zealand, will get $0.75 million and Quarterfinals runner up teams, West Indies, South Africa, Australia and England will receive $0.37 million prize money.
