Al Qaeda crucified on a soccer goal an accused spy

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) executed one of its members, accusing him of spying for the United States, an ally of Yemen in the fight against extremist network, a security source reported. The defendant was executed to death and his body hung from the goal of a football stadium near Chehr, city Hadramut (southeast), added the same source. Beside the body was a black banner with the inscription "U.S. Spy in the Arabian Peninsula"and a banner of Al Qaeda. In a statement found in the place, Al Qaeda threatens to execute "any intruder who, for a few dirhams, place chips on cars " to be target drones shot by drones, the source added. United States is the only country that has drones in the region. These devices have been used intensively in the past year to support the struggle of the Yemeni authorities against AQAP , and killed dozens of people suspected of belonging to the extremist network. AQAP took advantage of the weakening of the government of Yemen in 2011 after the popular uprising against President Ali Abdullah Saleh to bolster its presence, especially in the south and east.
