A series of attacks left more than 125 dead from Assad's minority religious

A string of bomb attacks have killed at least 125 people dead, apparently of the Alawite religious minority, belonging to the country's president, Bashar Assad , as reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Human Rights (OSDH). "You can not know immediately if the rebels are behind these attacks, but if that were the case, would be the largest operation by insurgents" against civilians Alawites, said director Rami Abdel Rahman OSDH. Activist networks of local coordination committees (LCC) and the General Commission of the Syrian Revolution (CGRS), meanwhile, have said that the explosions were caused by bombings carried out by the government army tanks . The UN has said that there is "strong suspicions" about the involvement of "chabbiba" (pro-regime militia) and condemned the Assad regime by the slaughter which caused an international outcry. The attacks took place in the town of Akrab in Hama province , near Hula, where 108 people, including 49 children and 34 women , were killed on May 29. In total, the violence left more than 42,000 dead in Syria since the conflict began in March 2011, according to the OSDH, an organization based in England and based on a network of activists, doctors and militaresDeshacer changes

President Hugo Chavez is being operated in Havana
