The bloodiest day of Syrian revolt: more than 300 dead


More than 300 people died during the day yesterday, Wednesday, in Syria, in the bloodiest day since the beginning of the revolt against the regime of Bashar Al-Assad in March 2011, stressed the opposition groups. Local coordination committees reported that 343 people were killed by repression of the forces of the regime, while the Commission of the Syria revolution pointed out that they were 313. The Syrian Observatory for human rights said that during the day yesterday there were more than 300 deaths, of which 211 were civilians and the rest opposition fighters and pro-Government forces. The director of the Observatory, Rami Abdurrahman, confirmed to Efe by telephone that it is the bloodiest day since the beginning of the revolt against the regime of Bashar Al-Assad. All organizations agreed that the largest number of victims occurred in Damascus and its periphery, although there were also deaths in other provinces such as Deir to Zur (East), Deraa (South), Hama (Center), Aleppo (North), Homs (Center) and Idleb (North). The Commission noted that in the towns of Barze and Ziabiya, on the outskirts of the capital, the loyal to the President were whole families, as in Deir to Zur. The opposition groups reported yesterday that sixteen people from three families had been executed to shooting by "shabiha" (pro-Government militia) in Barze. Among the dead were several women and children. The Commission stressed, in addition, that fifteen people detained in Hama were killed and thrown to a water well in the neighborhood of to the Arbain. These information have not been able to be verified independently because of restrictions imposed by the Syrian authorities for journalists to work. These events coincided yesterday with a double bomb attack on the headquarters of the State of the defence in Damascus, which claimed the lives of four guards of the building and which was claimed by the rebel army free SIRIUS (ELS). Also the journalist Maya Nasser, Iranian official English PressTv television correspondent, was killed shot dead by a sniper in the Syrian capital, reported its own station. Johnny had been arrested a few times this year by invading homes, commit thefts and assaults. Past that was already known by who was around Johnny. Kurt Sutter, the creator of "Sons of Anarchy", posted on Twitter a statement about the death of actor. "I wish I could say that I was shocked by the events of last night, but I wasn't," he wrote on Twitter. "I deeply regret that innocent lives have been thrown into the path of destruction. Yes, is a day of mourning, but it is also a day of awareness and gratitude, "he added.
