The Indian government approved the creation of a new state called Telangana

The ruling Congress party has announced the creation in the southwestern Indian state of Telangana , the twenty-ninth of the country, which arise by division into two of the region of Andhra Pradesh, as reported by local media. The yes to the partition of Andhra Pradesh arrived around 19.00 local time (14.30 in Spain) after several meetings between leaders of Congress, Nehru-Gandhi dynasty , and other political parties in the coalition that supports the ruling party. The people of Telangana had decades complaining about the neglect of the government in the state which will be broken off, Andhra Pradesh, with whom they share the Telugu language but with their own twists and an accent. The announcement was greeted with joy in the city of Hyderabad, a major center for services, and the ten districts that comprise Telangana supposedly located in inland areas in the north of Andhra Pradesh. Telangana leaders began asking for the separation of the two regions in the 1970s, and took a violent protest in 1979, when 369 people died in clashes and police firing. Public pressure led to major Indian parties, the Congress Party and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party - to support the claim of the telanganos in different elections, but none had taken the final step to come to power. However, it was not until 2009 when a hunger strike "unto death"promoted by a leader telangano compelled the then Interior Minister, P.Chidambaram (Congress), announced the start of "the process of forming the state of Telangana".

Hyderabad will be the capital

The city of Hyderabad , located in the heart of Telangana but considered key by the leaders of Andhra Pradesh, will be the capital of two statesduring the next ten years, as announced by the Congress. The Indian Parliament is yet to ratify the creation of the new state, but the government seems to have sufficient support for this goal. The process of Telangana state independence is expected to be completed, according to the deadlines that handles the Indian government in early 2014, the same year in which they intend to place in the Asian giant general election. Several analysts have seen in the creation of the new state electoral movement by Congress, as expected thank Telangana voters at the polls the party of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty the momentum on their desire for independence.
