The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are the parents of a child

The Dukes of Cambridge, William and Kate, have been on Monday parents of a child, who rank third in the line of succession to the British crown, said Kensington Palace, his official residence. The Duchess gave birth at the private room Cute St. Mary Hospital, in central London, after being taken in the morning drive to the hospital from Kensington Palace.
