A Pakistan man kills his daughter, son and grandchildren in a 'crime of honor'

A man has killed his daughter son two grandchildren and two relatives in East Pakistan to avenge the affront which meant that she decided to marry for love against the family will, police said. The incident occurred in the village last night Tara Singh , in the rural district of Dipalpur and very close to the Indian border, where the alleged offender took to collect the debt of "honor" the first visit from his daughter since she fled five years ago her husband. According to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), almost a thousand women -hundred of them minors, were killed last year in the country for this type of crime, though the agency warns that the number may be higher because many cases go unnoticed. One recent case happened a month ago in the northern town of Chilas, when a young man killed his two sisters aged 17 and 20 years and the mother of these girls after they were recorded with a mobile phone while playing in a downpour. The assailant, according to police, considered a grave dishonor that two female relatives that several neighbors had seen the video of the two girls jumping and joking in the rain.
