Google bans face recognition apps for your glasses

Google will not allow at least for the moment, the development of face recognition applications in their smart new glasses, the company said. The company introduced an express prohibition in the rules created for software developers until it is guaranteed the protection of the private sphere of people , underlined its leaders. Google Glass, glasses with a camera and a small screen over the eyes, generated from the beginning fears that violates data protection laws. Some developers had already begun to design programs for face recognition, which would be theoretically possible to identify certain people, for example famous- and photograph them without them noticing. In fact, in general being able to take pictures of other people without their consent is another concern that cause glasses. Google apps also prohibited to take pictures with the screen off, which at least is noticeable that the glasses are on.
