Google joins fight Facebook in the Waze application

After versions arise about the possible acquisition of the navigation app from the social network in early May, now the Mountain View giant also have expressed interest in the Israeli company. Google is considering acquiring Waze, a new Israeli company mobile satellite navigation is also purchase target Facebook, reported Bloomberg citing people familiar with the matter. Waze is seeking more than 1,000 million dollars and would be receiving expressions of interest from several parties, the sources said. Google , which already has its mapping service, could use Waze to add new social features to MapsIn early May, reports began to emerge about the possible purchase of the application byFacebook also by a figure close to 1,000 million. Google and others have approached Waze after the interest of Facebook was released, but none is close to closing a deal, said Bloomberg , adding that the Israeli firm could decide to remain independent. Waze uses satellite signals smartphones of its members to generate maps and traffic data collection that are then shared with other users, providing traffic information in real time.
