Facebook friends help recover the account

The social network is testing a new security feature called " Trusted Contacts "(" Contacts of Trust "), which will begin to be available soon for all users, as recorded by the specialized portal The Next Web .

"Think of it like giving the key to your house to a friend when you go on vacation," said a person's social network via mail to  VentureBeat.

Facebook announced a new tool in its  security blog, where he explains what it is and the step by step in order to implement it.

How does it work?

You must choose, among all your social network friends, of  three to five to have them confidence to be able to use them in case you can not access the account.

Those selected will have a code that will allow you access to your profile on Facebook , if you have been hacked or have forgotten your password.

Facebook recommends that you choose people you can contact without using Facebook, either someone you can call phone or see in person.

The selected trusted friends can be further modified using the security settings.

In order to enable your Trusted Contacts, go to the security settings section , enter the password and designated contacts.
