Tibet immolations, 70 arrests

Chinese police have arrested Tibetan-populated areas of Qinghai Province 70 persons'' in relation to a series of sacrifices.'' The Xinhua New China, citing a'' 'police investigation'' according to which'' the Dalai Clique'' would'' controlled'' the immolations. Over the past two years, 99 Tibetans set themselves on fire in protest against China, which they accuse of abuse the Tibetan population, and they want to destroy the local culture.
