2013 Oscars l And the Oscar goes to.....whole story of oscar 2013


Argo Ben Affleck won the Oscar for Best Picture in the delivery of the 85 th edition of the prestigious awards from the Dolby theater in Los Angeles. The award was announced by First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House. 

The film recounts the rescue of six U.S. citizens who had been taken hostage in Iran in 1979 kept the statuette for Best Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay .

The Oscar for best director went to the Taiwanese  Ang Lee for Life of Pi . For the Asian was the second Academy Award for best director. In 2005 he won The Brokeback Mountain . 

Life Of Pi, was the most awarded film night at the Hollywood Theatre Dolby. Lee took the award for Best Director, and also won in the categories Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects and Best Score.

Nationalized Irish actor Daniel Day Lewis won best actor for his role in Lincoln . It is the first performer to win three times the category, after receiving the Oscar for My Left Footand Be Blood .

The star of the evening was  Jennifer Lawrence , who ran on stage to receive her Oscar for best actress for her role in The light side of life . 

Christoph Waltz won best supporting actor for Django Without Chains . This is her second Oscar. In 2011 he had won by inglorious bastard Tarantino.

The award for best original screenplay went to  Django Unchained  by  Quentin Tarantino.  's the second time that Tarantino wins in that category: he had done with Pulp Fiction (Pulp Fiction). 

As best supporting actress, was consecrated  Anne Hathaway  for the film  Les Miserables . 
  
Paperman , John Kahrs, won best  animated short, and Brave from Pixar took the statuette as  best animated film . 

The photographer, of Chilean roots, Claudio Miranda (pictured) won best cinematographer for  Life of Pi ,  by  Ang Lee. 

The film by Ang Lee also won the Oscar for best visual effects.

Jennifer Aniston and Channing Tatum handed the award for Best Costume Design for Jacqueline Durran  (photo) by Anna Karenina , Joe Wright's film, and best makeup for Lisa Wescott and Julie Dartnell by Les Misérables.

The best short documentary was for Innocent  and the best short film took him  Curfew.
  
Ben Affleck was on hand to give the award for best documentary team  Searching for Sugarman. 

The filmmaker Michael Haneke won the award for best foreign language film for Love.The South American representative not remained empty handed. 

Mark Wahlberg and Ted presented the awards to best sound -it was for Les Miserables- and best sound editing , which was a tie between the darkest night and Skyfall . 

The film Lincoln was the first Oscar of the night for best production design. 

The  best soundtrack by Mychael Danna was for  Life of Pi while singer Adele andPaul Epworth took Best Original Song for Skyfall . 

At the beginning of the ceremony, the  versatile comedian Seth MacFarlane , known for his sharp sense of humor and for being the creator of the series Family Guy, received the guests with jokes and forward many surprises for the night.

Laughed the actor Ben Aflleck Argo, who was nominated for an Oscar for best director."is a stranger to the Academy," he said wryly.

The ceremony included a  final performance to officially dismiss the program, and usually due to lack of time, ends abruptly after granting the best picture statuette.
   
Halle Berry ,  Sandra Bullock ,  Nicole Kidman ,  Reese Witherspoon ,  Robert Downey Jr .,  Samuel L. Jackson  and  Meryl Streep were among the presenters. Also participating  Renee Zellweger ,  Catherine Zeta-Jones ,  Richard Gere ,  Jeremy Renner  and  Mark Ruffalo .
