The French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, announced the Foreign Affairs Commission of the National Assembly that the French army is stuck at the airport in Kidal, Mali, a storm of sand. "We took the airport last night Kidal", 1,500 km north-east of Bamako, confirmed Le Drian, but the French army remains stuck there "by a sandstorm."
