Egyptians try to take the presidential palace


Egyptian riot police used tear gas on Tuesday night to disperse protesters who tried to approach the presidential palace , a correspondent reported AFPOpponents of President Mohamed Mursi cut the barbed wire surrounding the building to move forward, to what the agents responded by firing tear gas. After the police retreated, allowing approach the palace while the other sectors the president came safely to reach his personal residence and refuge of the protesters , reported. Hundreds of thousands of people continued to come to the palace to protest against thepowers that claimed exceptional Mursi them as "dictatorial" and against a draft constitution to be submitted to a referendum on December 15. The Home Office tried to weaken the protest saying that the head of state left the palace "on time, after several interviews "throughout the day. In a statement, a senior Egyptian security said he left the place as usual, despite protests against the constitutional declaration issued ten days ago in which is shielded to justice. The United States called for calm on both sides Tuesday in Egypt, after supporters and opponents of President Mohamed Mursi clashed during demonstrations across the country. "We would just urge to express their views peacefully and to be given the space, if you will, to protest peacefully," said Mark Toner, State Department spokesman.
