What if Romney and Obama tied?

The U.S. electoral system is indirect that citizens elect the 538 members of the Electoral College are who subsequently elect the president and viceTo each state corresponds a equal number of representatives , plus an amount that isproportional to its populationThe presidential candidate who gains the support of the majority of citizens of a state , no matter what percent-takes the entire representatives , formally called "electors", attributed to that state by the Electoral College. To be elected president, you need to get a simple majority of delegates , ie 270 electoral votes . However, it could be that each candidate gets 269 votes and thus produce a tie.iven this unusual case, Amendment 12 of the Constitution establishes that the U.S.House of Representatives would choose the president, but through a special process of voting. Each group of representatives of the same state would be assigned one vote , with the exception of having the District of Washington, which although not a state, is assigned three electors for being the capital of the country, they would not participate.  Finally, the president would be elected by a simple majority , ie 26 of the 50 votesallocated. However, it is possible that in this case there is a tie again , if both candidates achieved 25 votes each, against which the vote would be repeated as often as necessarybecause the House has no tiebreaker rules .  The Senate on the other hand, consists of 100 senators , would be responsible for theelection of the vice president , also by a simple majority. In case of a tie , in charge of defining the result would be the President of the Senate , that is, the current vice president . There in the history of the United States only two precedents in the House of Representatives had to choose the president against a draw: in 1801 to Thomas Jefferson in 1925 and John Quincy AdamsIf the House were to stick with the current compositionMitt Romney leave withadvantage , as his party's majority in more states than Democrats. However, when one looks at the possible outcome of Tuesday's election , adding the votes of Democrats unquestionably states and showing an inclination for that party,Obama would have already secured two 43 votes , and I would be left only 27 to be crowned winnerRomney on the other hand, would have secured only 206 electoral votes, which will reduce the number of combinations victorious. The difference will be played in swing states: Florida -29 votes-votes-Ohio -18, -13 vote-Virginia, Wisconsin -10 votes-votes-Colorado -9, -6 votes-Iowa, New Hampshire and -4 votes.
