The Israeli Air Force carried out 1,000 attacks since the beginning of the current offensive against Hamas' military infrastructure. This was stated in an interview with the foreign press General Eden Atias, former commander of the air base Nevatim (Negev) and current representative of the Israeli forces in Canada. Atias said that the Israeli pilots have been training to operate in Gaza with the highest accuracy and to avoid as far as possible collateral damage.
