At least 25 dead in a fire in Saudi Arabia for a wedding

At least 25 people have died and 30 others were injured in a fire caused by a short circuit during a wedding in the area of Ain Dar al Jadida Baqiq in the region, in eastern Saudi Arabia, as reported by the local press . Most of the dead were women and children, and that the fire originated in a shop that had gathered 200 women. It is believed that the incident occurred in the region of Abqaiq, began with the fall of a transformer high voltage after it was hit by the shots fired during the celebration. The courtyard where the party was taking place had only one exit and it seems that many of the victims died electrocuted while trying to flee the fire. The injured, of varying severity, have been transferred to the general hospital and the health center Baqiq Aramco. A similar tragedy occurred in the same province in July 1999. At that time 76 people died.
