Twitter fits for the first local censorship

Microblog Site Twitter fits for the first time in its local censorship. At the request of the German Government, the tweets of a neo-Nazi account blocked. The messages will not be visible to Germans, but in the rest of the world are still reading the tweets. Twitter had the possibility of local censorship in January registered in its regulations. It is the first time that the website that rule also applies. The escrow account is that of the extreme right-wing organization Besseres Hanover. "The organsiation is forbidden, its resources have been cut off and all her accounts on social media must be immediately closed," wrote the German police in a letter to Twitter. Alex Macgillivray of the legal department of the company tweeted at the announcement of the decision to censor: "We have never content to stop, it's a good thing that we have the tools to keep it small and transparent."
